If you are seeking to improve yourself and your conditions for any amount of time, you will have encountered a multitude of techniques that offer a range of great advise.

Many of the ideas make instant sense and we go on our journey to explore these new possibilities. An example might be the concept of the law of attraction. For me, when I learned about it, it was immediately clear that this is true and that I just had to put my attention on the concepts and objects I wanted to see in my life.

So what do we do? We put our attention out to where we want it, and then there is a distraction and we forget for a moment and follow that thought of scarcity or anger or fear. Usually we catch ourselves soon and put attention back to where it needs to be. But then there is another distraction, maybe followed immediately by a third one and before we know it, the day is over and we realize that most of the day we have put our attention onto things we don't want to prolong.

To avoid this we need a protocol. Ideally, it is one item on a list which is the only thing we have to do when things go awry. If there is only one thing to remember when something goes wrong we can manage. It will still take practice and discipline, but to remember only one thing in ALL situations is possible.

Some of the exercises we will teach you are intended to help you develop this discipline and help you stick with it.It is great to sample many different methods and philosophies, and once you have drilled your ability to stay focused you will be much more efficient in studying those trains of thought.
